HSY
The one thing we love about HSY is that he sticks to his signature aesthetic and has developed a niche in all his years. He knows what the brand represents and works with that. This year, he showcased his collection ‘Shah’ in collaboration with the Scottish designer Harris Tweed Hebrides. His pieces were not oriented towards a traditional Pakistani bride. Rather, they were festive couture pieces that reflected a contemporary concept for the modern woman and man. Mawra Hocane walked the ramp for HSY. The entire collection was choreographed beautifully by Vaneeza. The music itself was upbeat and matched the aesthetic of the collection. We saw simple accessories matched with flowy gowns. We also saw many belted ensembles accentuating the waistlines. He closed the bridal week on Day 3 and truly deserved the finale spot!
